HomeMy Public PortalAbout12305O R D I N A N C E NO. 12305 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Sixty-five Thousand Dollars ($365,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Lower Meramec River Basin to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Fishpot West Sanitary Relief (90023), in the St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Unnerstall Contracting Co., Ltd., for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is Three Hundred Forty-three Thousand Ninety-four Dollars ($343,094.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Twenty-one Thousand Nine Hundred Six Dollars ($21,906.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Sixty-five Thousand Dollars ($365,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the Lower Meramec River Basin to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Fishpot West Sanitary Relief (90023), in the St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Unnerstall Contracting Co., Ltd. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in Fishpot West Sanitary Relief (90023), in the St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 10th day of August 2006. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 12, 2006.
