HomeMy Public PortalAbout12306O R D I N A N C E NO. 12306 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Thirty-one Thousand Dollars
($31,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Black Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
Summerdale Lane #340 Storm Sewer (2006108), in the City of Olivette, Missouri;
and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Southern
Ditching & Excavating Company for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is
Twenty-eight Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty Dollars ($28,730.00), and the
allowance for construction change orders is Two Thousand Two Hundred Seventy
Dollars ($2,270.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Thirty-one Thousand Dollars ($31,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Black Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of
storm sewers in Summerdale Lane #340 Storm Sewer (2006108), in the City of
Olivette, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Southern Ditching & Excavating Company as the lowest
responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Summerdale Lane #340
Storm Sewer (2006108), in the City of Olivette, Missouri, pursuant to bids received
and opened on the 11th day of August, 2006.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 12, 2006.
