HomeMy Public PortalAbout12307 O R D I N A N C E NO. 12307 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million One Hundred Thousand
Dollars ($2,100,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project
costs for the construction of Harlem-Baden Relief Phase IV (Rosalie) (2003039), in
the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Bates Utility Company, Inc. for the aforesaid construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for the aforesaid construction is One Million Nine
Hundred Ninety-seven Thousand Seven Hundred Ninety Dollars ($1,997,790.00),
and the allowance for construction change orders is One Hundred Two Thousand
Two Hundred Ten Dollars ($102,210.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Million One Hundred Thousand
($2,100,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be
used for project costs for the construction of Harlem-Baden Relief Phase IV (Rosalie)
(2003039), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Bates Utility Company, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for
the construction of Harlem-Baden Relief Phase IV (Rosalie) (2003039), in the City of
St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 25th day of August
2006.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 12, 2006.
