HomeMy Public PortalAbout12330 O R D I N A N C E NO. 12330 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty-nine Thousand Dollars
($49,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of University City Branch of River Des Peres to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers in Fairham #7619 Storm Sewer (2005140), in the City
of University City, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with D.H.I. Contracting, LLC,. for the construction of the aforesaid storm
sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Forty-
Four Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($44,900.00), and the allowance for
construction change orders is Four Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($4,100.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty-nine Thousand Dollars ($49,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of University City Branch of River Des Peres to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Fairham #7619 Storm Sewer
(2005140), in the City of University City, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with D.H.I. Contracting, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for
the construction of storm sewers in Fairham #7619 Storm Sewer (2005140), in the
City of University City, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 25th
day of July, 2006.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 12, 2006.
