A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING THE SELECTION OF CPS EXECUTIVE SEARCH
TO CONDUCT THE RECRUITMENT FOR THE
DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES AND TO
AUTHORIZE THE ALLOCATION OF FUNDS
WHEREAS, proposals were received from various executive search firms
to conduct a recruitment for the Director of Human Resources position; and
WHEREAS, the consulting firm of CPS Executive Search was selected to
conduct the recruitment; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to conduct an extensive
recruitment to provide a strong and competitive pool of candidates; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, order, and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council approves the selection of CPS
Executive Search and the firm's fee in an amount not to exceed $27,000 to
conduct the recruitment.

Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
