HomeMy Public PortalAbout12338O R D I N A N C E NO. 12338 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Five Thousand Dollars
($105,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement
Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm
sewers in Coles #3227 Storm Sewer Improvements (2005129), in the City of
Breckenridge Hills, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm
sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Ninety-
five Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy-nine Dollars ($95,979.00), and the allowance
for construction change orders is Nine Thousand Twenty-one Dollars ($9,021.00),
and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Five Thousand Dollars
($105,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for
the construction of storm sewers in Coles #3227 Storm Sewer Improvements
(2005129), in the City of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the
construction of storm sewers in Coles #3227 Storm Sewer Improvements (2005129),
in the City of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on
the 5th day of September 2006.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 9, 2006.
