($101,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for
the construction of Macklind Pump Station Improvement (2005120), in the City of
St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with R. V. Wagner, Inc., for the aforesaid construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for the aforesaid construction is Ninety-two
Thousand Forty and 02/100 Dollars ($92,040.02), and the allowance for construction
change orders is Eight Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty-nine and 98/100 Dollars
($8,959.98), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred One Thousand ($101,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project
costs for the construction of Macklind Pump Station Improvement (2005120), in the
City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with R. V. Wagner, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for the
construction of Macklind Pump Station Improvement (2005120), in the City of St.
Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 29th day of September
2006.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 14, 2006.
