AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars
($140,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for engineering services for the design of
Barrett Station Sanitary Relief (96026) and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract E-1204
with St. Louis County Department of Highways and Traffic for the aforesaid engineering
services.
WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri has undertaken a project to improve
Barrett Station Road from Manchester Road to Dougherty Ferry Road, and
WHEREAS, it would be advantageous and cost effective for the District to have
the consultant as employed by St. Louis County, Missouri for the aforementioned Barrett Station
Road improvement project design the District’s sanitary relief sewer to be located therein, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars ($140,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for engineering services for the design
of Barrett Station Sanitary Relief (96026).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract E-1204
with St. Louis County Department of Highways and Traffic for engineering services for the
design of Barrett Station Sanitary Relief (96026); said contract to be comprised of such terms
and conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 14, 2006.
