HomeMy Public PortalAbout12362O R D I N A N C E NO. 12362 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Hundred Ninety-nine Thousand
Dollars ($699,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in Gravois Gardens Storm Improvements Phase 2 (2003065A), in
St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with Bommarito Utilities, LLC for the construction of the aforesaid storm
sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Six
Hundred Thirty-four Thousand Five Hundred Eighty-eight Dollars ($634,588.00),
and the allowance for construction change orders is Sixty-four Thousand Four
Hundred Twelve Dollars ($64,412.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Six Hundred Ninety-nine Thousand Dollars
($699,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for
the construction of storm sewers in Gravois Gardens Storm Improvements Phase 2
(2003065A), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Bommarito Utilities, LLC as the lowest responsible bidder for
the construction of storm sewers in Gravois Gardens Storm Improvements Phase 2
(2003065A), in St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on
the 30th day of October, 2006.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 11, 2007.
