Dollars ($138,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers in Coldwater WWTP Offsite Storm Sewer
Consolidation and Outfall (2006128), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing
the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with J.H. Berra Const. Co., Inc. for the
construction of the aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is One
Hundred Twenty-five Thousand Four Hundred Seventy-one Dollars ($125,471.00),
and the allowance for construction change orders is Twelve Thousand Five Hundred
Twenty-nine Dollars ($12,529.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Thirty-eight Thousand Dollars
($138,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for
the construction of storm sewers in Coldwater WWTP Offsite Storm Sewer
Consolidation and Outfall (2006128), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with J.H. Berra Const. Co., Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for
the construction of storm sewers in Coldwater WWTP Offsite Storm Sewer
Consolidation and Outfall (2006128), in St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to
bids received and opened on the 29th day of November 2006.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 11, 2007.
