HomeMy Public PortalAbout12378O R D I N A N C E NO. 12378 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Sixty-seven Thousand Dollars
($67,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for
the construction of storm sewers in CSO – Deer Creek Woods Outfalls L-164 and L-
165 Separation (2006090), in the City of Ladue, Missouri, and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into a contract with Midwest Trenching & Excavating, Inc.
for the construction of the aforesaid construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Sixty
Thousand Seven Hundred Eighty-two and 47/100 Dollars ($60,782.47), and the
allowance for construction change orders is Six Thousand Two Hundred Seventeen
and 53/100 Dollars ($6,217.53), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Sixty-seven Thousand Dollars ($67,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project
costs for the construction of storm sewers in CSO – Deer Creek Woods Outfalls L-
164 and L-165 Separation (2006090), in the City of Ladue, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Midwest Trenching & Excavating, Inc. as the lowest
responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in CSO – Deer Creek Woods
Outfalls L-164 and L-165 Separation (2006090), in the City of Ladue, Missouri,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 31st day of October, 2006..
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 8, 2007.
