AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred One Thousand
Dollars ($101,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Creve Coeur Frontenac Creek to be used for project costs
for the construction of storm sewers in Spoede Rd. S. #324 Storm Sewer
(2005134), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with D.H.I. Contracting, LLC for the
construction of the aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is
Ninety-one Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($91,900.00), and the allowance
for construction change orders is Nine Thousand One Hundred Dollars
($9,100.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT
Section One. The sum of One Hundred One Thousand Dollars
($101,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Creve Coeur Frontenac Creek to be used
for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Spoede Rd. S. #324
Storm Sewer (2005134), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into a contract with D.H.I. Contracting, LLC as the lowest responsible
bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Spoede Rd. S. #324 Storm Sewer
(2005134), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and
opened on the 14th day of December 2006.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 8, 2007.
