HomeMy Public PortalAbout12410OR D I N A N C E NO. 12410 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seventy-two Thousand Dollars ($72,000.00) from the Improvement Fund to reimburse St. Louis County, Missouri for the costs of construction of sanitary sewers as undertaken by St. Louis County, Missouri in Wildhorse Creek Road Relocation (P-23103) in the City of Chesterfield, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with St. Louis County, Missouri whereby the District will reimburse St. Louis County, Missouri for the construction of said sanitary sewers. WHEREAS, St. Louis County, Missouri has undertaken the construction of said sanitary sewers as a part of the project to relocate Wildhorse Creek Road, and WHEREAS, the District is willing to reimburse St. Louis County, Missouri for the costs of said sanitary sewers, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT Section One. The sum of Seventy-two Thousand Dollars ($72,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund to reimburse St. Louis County, Missouri for the costs of construction of sanitary sewers as undertaken by St. Louis County, Missouri in Wildhorse Creek Road Relocation (P-23103)in the City of Chesterfield, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with St. Louis County, Missouri whereby the District will reimburse St. Louis County, Missouri for the costs of construction of sanitary sewers as undertaken by St. Louis County, Missouri in Wildhorse Creek Road Relocation (P-23103), in the City of Chesterfield, Missouri ; said contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 26, 2007
