Wayne Neddermeyer - Mayor in Chair Priscilla Arens - Clerk All members present. The minutes of the meeting of January 6, 1970 read. Moved by Donald Des Lauriers that the minutes be approved as read. Seconded by Harold Winterhalter Motion carried. Moved by Arthur Theis to grant a cigarette license for 1970 to Rolling Green Country Club. Seconded by Raymond Bosch. Motion carried. Moved by Harold Winterhalter to grant an Outdoor Theater license for 1970 to the Colinial Drive -In Theater. Seconded by Donald Des Lauriers Motion carried. Moved by Harold Winterhalter for the adoption of a resolution ;riving the County the authority to sill the tax forfeited land designated as "644-C" in the Village of Medina. Seconded by Raymond Bosch Council polled. Harold Winterhalter, no; Wayne Neddermeyer, no; Raymond Bosch, no; Arthur Theis, no; and Donald Des Lauriers, no. Motion lost. Moved by Harold Winterhalter to appoint the Crow River News as the official newspaper. Seconded by Raymond Bosch. Motion carried. George Favorite appeared before the Council to protest about the sign of the Rolling Green Country Club which is near to his property. Wayne Neddermeyer is going to phone someone at the Club. Moved by Harold Winterhalter to transfer the amount of $29,467.00 of the temporary bond issue from Construction to General Fund, to reimburse General Fund for the amount used for the construction of Evergreen Road. Seconded by Arthur Theis Motion carried. A report from the Department of Health of the State of Minnesota with regard to the water plant in the Medina-Morningside Development was read. A letter from the Minneapolis Gas Company with regard to change of charges was read. A notice of the Hearing dn_follution to be held in the Board Room of the State Board of Health Bldg., 717 Delaware St. S. E. Minneapolis, on February 25, 1970, starting at 10:00 A. M. was read. Announcement was made of the Hennepin County League of Municipalities meeting Thursday, February 5th at 8 P. M. at the St. Louis Park City Hall, Council Chambets, 5005 Minnetonka Blvd. Studied and discussed an ordinance on mobile homes. Moved by Harold Winterhalter to adopt the ordinance governing mobile Parks as presen*ed and amended. Seconded by Donald Des Lauriers Motion cerried Moved by Arthur Theis to pay the bills as follows: payroll in the amount of $3,606.40 and order checks in the amount of $24,127.52. Seconded by Raymond Bosch Motion carried. Moved by Donald Des Lauriers to indrease the Clerk's salary $50.00 per month, making a monthly salary of $300.00, to compendate for the extra work for the sewer and water. Seconded by Arthur Theis Motion carried. Moved by Raymond Bosch to have a special police meeting on Tuesday, February 17 at 7:30 P. M. Seconded by Harold Winterhalter Motion carried. Moved by Arthur Theis that the meeting adjourn. Seconded by Raymond Bosch Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 10:40 P. M. Clerk Mayor
