AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL,
ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM
THE WAYNE COUNTY FOUNDATION
WHEREAS, The Wayne County Foundation has grant funding available; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond Parks Department desires to submit a grant
application to assist with the costs of supplies and field trips for Just Us Kids
Outdoors (J.U.K.O.) summer program; and
WHEREAS, no local match is required for this grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
1. The City of Richmond Parks Department is hereby authorized to submit a grant
application to The Wayne County Foundation to assist with the costs of supplies and field
trips.
2. The City of Richmond Parks Department for Just Us Kids Outdoors (J.U.K.O.)
summer program is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to Five
Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($5,000.00).
3. Said funds, if awarded to the City of Richmond, shall be appropriated to assist
with the costs of supplies and field trips.
Passed and adopted this _5th_ day of February , 2007 by the Common Council of
the City of Richmond, Indiana.
