THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, NOVEMBER 29, 2012
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met at 5:00 P.M.,
Thursday, November 29, 2012, in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, 50 North 5th
Street, Richmond, Indiana. In attendance were Board Members Vicki Robinson, Dian Lawson
and Tony Foster. Also attending were Assistant City Attorney Kim Vessels and Community
Development Specialist Sharon Palmer.
The following business was conducted:
CALL TO ORDER
Ms. Robinson called the meeting to order and noted for the minutes that all board members and
legal counsel were present
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Mr. Foster moved to approve the November 21, 2012 minutes with a second by Ms. Lawson.
The motion was unanimously passed.
CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT
The claims for payment for November 30, 2012 are in the amount of $217,110.95. Ms. Lawson
moved to approve with a second by Mr. Foster. The motion was unanimously passed.
PUBLIC HEARING IN CONNECTION WITH NSP PROPERTIES
A. The Proof of Publication for the sale and or transfer of NSP properties at 216 South
10th Street, 218 South 10th Street and 324 South 11th Street was presented to the Board
for acceptance. Mr. Foster moved to accept with a second by Ms. Lawson.
B. Ms. Robinson opened the Public Hearing. There being no one present to comment
Ms. Lawson moved to close the Public Hearing with a second by Mr. Foster. The
motion was unanimously passed.
RESOLUTION
A. Resolution No. 20 -2012 is a resolution to Approve the Disposal of Real Property
located in the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) area (Vaile Neighborhood)
Richmond Indiana. This resolution authorizes a variety of people from the City of
Richmond to sign the documents needed for the transfer of the properties located at

216 & 218 South 10' Street and 324 South 11th Street. Ms. Lawson moved to
approve with a second by Mr. Foster. The motion was unanimously passed.
BID OPENING
A. Bids were opened for gasoline and fuels for 2013. There was one bid submitted from
Harvest Land Co op. Their pricing is as follows:

There being no further business, on a motion duly made, seconded and passed unanimously. The
meeting was adjourned.
