A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING AN
IRREVOCABLE EASEMENT OFFER OF
DEDICATION FOR STREET PURPOSES AT 3056
REDWOOD AVENUE
WHEREAS, the conditions of approval for the development of a second
single family residence, two-story in height with an attached 2-car garage at 3056
Redwood Avenue (SPR Case 2005-11) includes an irrevocable dedication for
five (5) feet wide strip of property along Redwood Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has determined that
said easement is necessary for the convenience, welfare, and safety of the
public; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest of the City shall
be served by accepting said easement; and
WHEREAS, said easement has been analyzed and approved by the City
Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council accepts the irrevocable easement offer of
dedication for street purposes from Melchor Valladares and Martha L. Chavez as
described below:
The northeasterly 5 feet of Lots 38, 39, and 40 of Modjeska Park in
the City of Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as
recorded in Book 9, Pages 142-143 of Maps, in the office of the
County Recorder.
Assessor's Map No. 6169-008-028
Commonly known as:
3056 Redwood Avenue
Lynwood, CA. 90262
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
