A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING AN
IRREVOCABLE EASEMENT OFFER OF
DEDICATION FOR STREET PURPOSES AT 3511
BURTON AVENUE
WHEREAS, the conditions of approval for the development of a second
single family residence, one-story in height with an attached 2-car garage at 3511
Burton Avenue (SPR Case 2005-02) includes an irrevocable dedication for five (5)
feet wide strip of property along Burton Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has determined that
said easement is necessary for the convenience, welfare, and safety of the
public; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest of the City shall
be served by accepting said easement; and
WHEREAS, said easement has been analyzed and approved by the City
Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council accepts the irrevocable easement offer of
dedication for street purposes from Juan C. Barrera and Linda Barrera as
described below:
The southerly 5 feet of Lot 868 of Tract No. 3172 in the City of
Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as recorded
in Book 32, Page 90 of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder.
Assessor's Map No. 6175-022-018
Commonly known as:
3511 Burton Avenue
Lynwood, CA. 90262
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
