A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
ACCEPTING THE SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT
NO. 5-5311, AS BEING COMPLETE
WHEREAS, the City Council awarded a contract to Newtech
Engineering & Construction Inc. in the amount of $39,860.00 for the Sidewalk
Improvement Project, Project No. 5-5311; and
WHEREAS, the project started on June 6, 2005, and was completed
on July 1, 2005; and
WHEREAS, the total construction cost was $39,468.50; and
WHEREAS, staff conducted the final inspection on July 25, 2005, and
found that all work has been completed satisfactorily in accordance with the project
plans and specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council accept the Sidewalk Improvement
Project, Project No. 5-5311, as being complete and in accordance with contract
documents.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its
adoption.

said City on the 16th day of August , 2005, and passed by the
