AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , DECLARING CERTAIN
PROPERTY TO BE SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL OF SAID
PROPERTY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AS
FOLLOWS :
Section 1. The Council of the City of Jefferson , Missouri finds that certain property in
the custody of the Transit Division described below , is surplus property, and as such
represents a burdensome cost for storage and maintenance, and that the property is no
longer needed for any public purpose.

Section 2 . The Finance Department is hereby authorized to dispose of the surplus
property through sealed bid, auction or other means .
Section 3 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its passage and approval.
