AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
ADOPTING AN INTERIM ZONING ORDINANCE
PURSUANT TO SECTION 65858 OF THE GOVERN-
MENT CODE TEMPORARILY RECLASSIFYING
CERTAIN PROPERTIES HERETOFORE ANNEXED.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Temple City
finds and determines that it has heretofore adopted Ordinance No.
66 -192 annexing certain territory (designated herein as "Annexa-
tion No. 10 ") to the City of Temple City.
SECTION 2. That it is appropriate, pursuant to Section
65858 of the Government Code, to place interim zoning upon said
annexed property pending Planning Commission studies, hearings and
recommendations with respect thereto.
SECTION 3. All of that property described in said Ordinance
No. 66-192 is hereby classified Zone R -1 (Pursuant to the Zoning
Code of the City of Temple City).
SECTION 4. Any new or additional uses contrary to the
classification set forth in Section 3 above is hereby declared to
be unlawful.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall continue in effect until
frareh 6, 1967, and shall become immediately effective for the rea-
sons set forth in Section 65858 of the Government Code and as set
forth herein.
SECTION 6. The City Clerk of the City of Temple City shall
certify to the passage and adoption of this Ordinance and to its
approval by the Mayor and shall cause the same to be published in
the Temple City Times, a newspaper of general circulation, printer
published and circulated in the City of Temple City.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6 h day of December, 1966.

66 -216, was introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council oi°
the City of Temple City, held on the 6th day of December, 1966,
and was thereupon passed and adopted as an emergency Ordinance,
after having been read in full and signed by the Mayor and attes-
ted by the City Clerk by the following vote:
