HomeMy Public PortalAbout12474O R D I N A N C E NO. 12474 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Ninety-four Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($94,500.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Paddock Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Willowbrook No. 1420 Storm Sewer (2006106), in the City of Florissant, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Gaehle Grading, LLC for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Eighty-five Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy-two and 57/100 Dollars ($85,972.57), and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Eight Thousand Five Hundred and 43/100 Dollars ($8,527.43), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Ninety-four Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($94,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Paddock Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Willowbrook No. 1420 Storm Sewer (2006106), in the City of Florissant, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Gaehle Grading, LLC as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Willowbrook No. 1420 Storm Sewer (2006106), in the City of Florissant, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 27th day of April, 2007. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 12, 2007.
