HomeMy Public PortalAbout12493O R D I N A N C E NO. 12493 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Fifty-five Thousand Dollars ($355,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of CSO - Interceptor Access and Monitoring Improvements Phase II (BP Interceptor Level Sensors) (2003054D), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with TGB, Inc. for the aforesaid construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said construction is Three Hundred Twenty- four Thousand Six Hundred Four Dollars ($324,604.00), and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Thirty Thousand Three Hundred Ninety-six Dollars ($30,396.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Fifty-five Thousand Dollars ($355,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of CSO - Interceptor Access and Monitoring Improvements Phase II (BP Interceptor Level Sensors) (2003054D), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with TGB, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of CSO - Interceptor Access and Monitoring Improvements Phase II (BP Interceptor Level Sensors) (2003054D), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 9th day of March 2007. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 9, 2007.
