AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Sixty-six Thousand
Dollars ($466,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for
project costs for the construction of the Fenton Wastewater Treatment Plant
Odor Improvements (2006171), in the City of Fenton and St. Louis County,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
TGB, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid wastewater treatment plant
improvements.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said wastewater
treatment plant improvements is Three Million Six Hundred Forty-six
Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty Dollars ($3,636,930.00), and the allowance for
construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Eight-
three Thousand Seventy Dollars ($183,070.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Sixty-six Thousand
Dollars ($466,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement
Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Fenton Wastewater
Treatment Plant Odor Improvements (2006171), in the City of Fenton and St.
Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into Contract with TGB, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the
construction of the Fenton Wastewater Treatment Plant Odor Improvements
(2006171) in the City of Fenton and St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to
bids received and opened on the 22nd day of February 2007.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 12, 2007.
