HomeMy Public PortalAbout12499O R D I N A N C E NO. 12499 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Sixty-six Thousand Dollars ($366,000.00) from the Black Jack – Dellwood OMCI Fund to be used for project costs for storm channel biostabilization Prentice – Granger Storm Channel (MCBJ-110) Phase II (2000110A), in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc. for storm channel biostabilization. WHEREAS, the bid for storm channel biostabilization is Three Hundred Forty-Eight Thousand Six Hundred Forty-nine Dollars ($348,649.00), and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Seventeen Thousand Three Hundred Fifty-one Dollars ($17,351.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Sixty-six Thousand Dollars ($366,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Black Jack – Dellwood OMCI Fund to be used for project costs for storm channel biostabilization in Plainfield No. 9512 Bank Stabilization (2006110), in Prentice – Granger Storm Channel (MCBJ-110) Phase II (2000110A), in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for storm channel bio-stabilization in Prentice – Granger Storm Channel (MCBJ-110) Phase II (2000110A), in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 6th day of July 2007. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 12, 2007.
