AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Twenty-two Thousand
Dollars ($222,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for engineering services for the
design of Deer Creek Watershed Storm Sewer Improvements (2007242), in the
Cities of Kirkwood, Ladue and Creve Coeur, Missouri; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract E-1222 with Kowelman Engineering,
Inc. for the aforesaid engineering services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Twenty-two Thousand Dollars
($222,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for engineering
services for the design of Deer Creek Watershed Storm Sewer Improvements
(2007242), in the Cities of Kirkwood, Ladue and Creve Coeur, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into Contract E-1222 with Kowelman Engineering, Inc. for engineering services
for the design of Deer Creek Watershed Storm Sewer Improvements (2007242), in
the Cities of Kirkwood, Ladue and Creve Coeur, Missouri; said contract to be
comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the
General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon it enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 8, 2007.
