($82,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Fountain Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
Harrison Ave. #1375 Storm Sewer Consolidation and Outfall (2006142), in the City
of Florissant, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with Heartland Construction & Excavating for the construction of the
aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is
Seventy-four Thousand Nine Hundred Twelve Dollars ($74,912.00), and the
allowance for construction change orders and other project costs is Seven Thousand
Eighty-eight Dollars ($7,088.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT
Section One. The sum of Eighty-two Thousand Dollars ($82,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Fountain Creek to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers in Harrison Ave. #1375 Storm Sewer Consolidation
and Outfall (2006142), in the City of Florissant, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Heartland Construction & Excavating as the lowest responsible
bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Harrison Ave. #1375 Storm Sewer
Consolidation and Outfall (2006142), in the City of Florissant, Missouri, pursuant
to bids received and opened on the 20th day of November 2007.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 10, 2008.
