HomeMy Public PortalAbout12605O R D I N A N C E NO. 12605 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Five Thousand Dollars ($105,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for combined sewer replacement in the CSO – Interceptor & Outfall Modifications (Jefferson Barracks Outfall L-152 Replacement) (2003053C), in unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with J. H. Berra Const. Co., Inc. for the aforesaid construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said construction is Ninety-five Thousand Five Hundred Thirty Dollars ($95,530.00), and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Nine Thousand Four Hundred Seventy Dollars ($9,470.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Five Thousand Dollars ($105,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for combined sewer replacement in the CSO – Interceptor & Outfall Modifications (Jefferson Barracks Outfall L-152 Replacement) (2003053C), in unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with J.H. Berra Const. Co., Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for, combined sewer replacement in the CSO – Interceptor & Outfall Modifications (Jefferson Barracks Outfall L-152 Replacement) (2003053C), in unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 26th day of February 2008. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 10, 2008.
