HomeMy Public PortalAbout12609O R D I N A N C E NO. 12609 AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of One Hundred Eighteen Thousand One Hundred Fifty-five Dollars ($118,155.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for additional project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Garden Lane Storm Sewer Phase II (2005074), in the City of Kirkwood, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend the existing contract with Gershenson Construction Co., Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 12548, adopted December 13, 2007 appropriated the initial funding and authorized the contract for said project, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Eighteen Thousand One Hundred Fifty-five Dollars ($118,155.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for additional project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Garden Lane Storm Sewer Phase II (2005074), in the City of Kirkwood, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend the existing contract with Gershenson Construction Co., Inc. for additional project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Garden Lane Storm Sewer Phase II (2005074), in the City of Kirkwood, Missouri; said contract amendment to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 10, 2008.
