Dollars ($50,000.00) as appropriated by Ordinance No. 11014, adopted July 12, 2001
for the Lower Meramec River WWTP Site Preparation (95066E) to the Sanitary
Replacement Fund balance, and appropriating Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00)
from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for additional engineering services
during the construction of the Lower Meramec River Wastewater System
Improvements Baumgartner Interceptor Tunnel and Lift Station (E-898-13 &
95066B); in unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 13 of Contract E-898 with Horner and
Shifrin, Inc. for the aforesaid additional engineering services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 10460, adopted November 12, 1998,
appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract E-898, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) is hereby
transferred from funds as appropriated by Ordinance No. 11014, adopted July 12,
2001, for the Lower Meramec River WWTP Site Preparation (95066E) to the
Sanitary Replacement Fund balance, and the sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars
($50,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used
for additional engineering services during the construction of the Lower Meramec
River Wastewater System Improvements Baumgartner Interceptor Tunnel and Lift
Station (E-898-13 & 95066B), in unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into Amendment No. 13 of Contract E-898 with Horner and Shifrin, Inc. for
additional engineering services during the construction of the Lower Meramec River
Wastewater System Improvements Baumgartner Interceptor Tunnel and Lift
Station (E-898-13 & 95066B); said contract to be comprised of such terms and
conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
