Hundred Sixty Thousand ($160,000.00) Dollars from Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek for additional engineering services
for the design of CSO – Parkridge Addition Combined Sewer Separation and Relief
(2004054) and Parkside Storm Sewer (2005095) and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into Amendment No. 5 of Contract E-1158 with RJN Group, Inc. for
the aforesaid additional engineering services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 12114, adopted November 10, 2005
appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract E-1158, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars
($160,000.00) is hereby appropriated from Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek for additional engineering services
for the design of CSO – Parkridge Addition Combined Sewer Separation and Relief
(2004054) and Parkside Storm Sewer (2005095).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into Amendment No. 5 of Contract E-1158 with RJN Group, Inc. for additional
engineering services for the design of CSO – Parkridge Addition Combined Sewer
Separation and Relief (2004054) and Parkside Storm Sewer (2005095); said contract
to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the
General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon it enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 10, 2008.
