AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Sixty Thousand
Dollars ($460,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for
pump station generator construction as part of the Lemay Pump Station No. 3
(Generator) (2003078C) in unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with TGB, Inc. for
the construction of the aforesaid pump station generator.
WHEREAS, the bid for the pump station generator construction is
Five Hundred Twenty-four Thousand Seven Hundred Fifteen Dollars
($524,715.00) and the allowance for change orders and other project costs is
Thirty-five Thousand Two Hundred Eighty-five Dollars ($35,285.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars
($460,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to
be used for pump station generator construction as part of the Lemay Pump
Station No. 3 (Generator) (2003078C) in unincorporated St. Louis County,
Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into a contract with TGB, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the
pump station generator construction as part of the Lemay Pump Station No. 3
(Generator) (2003078C) in unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 16th day of April 2008.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 12, 2008.
