HomeMy Public PortalAbout12639O R D I N A N C E NO. 12639 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Seventy-eight Thousand Dollars ($478,00.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the combined sewer separation and sanitary and storm sewer construction CSO - Dromara Drive Sewer Separation (2003096) in the City of Ladue, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc. for the combined sewer separation and construction of the aforesaid sanitary and storm sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the combined sewer separation and construction of said sanitary and storm sewers is Four Hundred Thirty-four Thousand Three Hundred Forty Dollars ($434,340.00), and the allowance for construction change orders and other project Costs is Forty-three Thousand Six Hundred Sixty Dollars ($43,660.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Seventy-eight Thousand Dollars ($478,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the combined sewer separation and sanitary and storm sewer construction CSO - Dromara Drive Sewer Separation (2003096) in the City of Ladue, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the combined sewer separation and sanitary and storm sewer construction CSO - Dromara Drive Sewer Separation (2003096) in the City of Ladue, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 27th day of April 2008. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 12, 2008.
