Dollars ($370,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of
storm sewers in North Forest Storm Relief (2006148), in the City of Webster
Groves, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Dirtbusters, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Three
Hundred Thirty-five Thousand One Hundred Thirteen and 50/100 ($335,113.50)
Dollars, and the allowance for construction change orders and other project costs is
Thirty-four Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty-six and 50/100 Dollars ($34,886.50),
and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars
($370,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers in North Forest Storm Relief (2006148), in the City of
Webster Groves, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Dirtbusters, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the
construction of storm sewers in North Forest Storm Relief (2006148), in the City of
Webster Groves, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 15th day of
April 2008.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 12, 2008.
