Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) from the Emergency Fund for emergency
sewer repairs in Emergency Repair #042 – 1106 S. Florissant Road (2007249A) in
the City of Ferguson, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
amend the existing contract with Karsten Equipment Company for the aforesaid
emergency repairs.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 12563, adopted December 13, 2007
appropriated the initial funding for and authorized the contract for said emergency
repair, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Thousand Dollars
($100,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Emergency Fund for emergency
sewer repairs in Emergency Repair #042 – 1106 S. Florissant Road (2007249A) in
the City of Ferguson, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to amend
the existing contract with Karsten Equipment Company for emergency sewer
repairs in Emergency Repair #042 – 1106 S. Florissant Road (2007249A) in the City
of Ferguson, Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 12, 2008.
