($96,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
Foote - Berry Park Storm Sewer (2006139), in the Cities of Webster Groves and
Glendale, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with Heartland Construction & Excavating for the construction of the
aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Eighty-
eight Thousand Dollars ($88,000.00) and the allowance for construction change
orders and other project costs is Eight Thousand Dollars ($8,000.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT
Section One. The sum of Ninety-six Thousand Dollars ($96,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of
storm sewers in Foote - Berry Park Storm Sewer (2006139), in the Cities of Webster
Groves and Glendale, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Heartland Construction & Excavating as the lowest responsible
bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Foote - Berry Park Storm Sewer
(2006139), in the Cities of Webster Groves and Glendale, Missouri, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 6th day of May 2008.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 10, 2008.
