HomeMy Public PortalAbout12710O R D I N A N C E NO. 12710 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Three Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars ($1,370,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for CSO – Interceptor & Outfall Modifications Phase II (BP- 009, BP-015, BP-016, BP-032, BP-34/035, BP-046, BP-049) (2003053B7), in St. Louis City and St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an Agreement with: Archer Daniels Midland, The City of St. Louis Board of Public Service/Port Authority, Continental Cement Company, 1201 S. Warf, LLC, Yorktown Investment, LLC, and Slay Industries for the construction of the aforesaid improvements. WHEREAS, the construction of any public sewer improvements associated therewith shall be from this appropriation and shall be conducted through standard bid/authorization procedures, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT Section One. The sum of One Million Three Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars ($1,370,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for CSO – Interceptor & Outfall Modifications Phase II (BP-009, BP-015, BP-016, BP-032, BP-34/035, BP-046, BP-049) (2003053B7), in St. Louis City and St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an Agreement with: Archer Daniels Midland, The City of St. Louis Board of Public Service/Port Authority, Continental Cement Company, 1201 S. Warf, LLC, Yorktown Investment, LLC, and Slay Industries. Section Three. The Agreements authorized in Section Two of this ordinance shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 14, 2008.
