Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars ($800,000.00) from the Sanitary
Replacement Fund for additional costs incurred in the Lower Meramec River
System Improvements – Baumgartner Lagoon Closure (95066N) construction
project.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 12469, adopted June 14, 2007,
appropriated the initial funding for said contract and authorized the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer to enter into the contract with
Synagro Central, LLC, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars
($800,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund
for additional costs incurred in the Lower Meramec River System
Improvements – Baumgartner Lagoon Closure (95066N) construction project.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 7, 2008.
