Hundred Thousand Dollars ($4,200,000.00) from the following funds in the
amounts listed: Sanitary Replacement Fund – Four Million Twenty
Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-five Dollars ($4,020,755.00); and Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Missouri River Bonfils
– One Hundred Seventy-nine Thousand Two Hundred Forty-five Dollars
($179,245.00); to be used for project costs for the rehabilitation of sanitary
sewers in Infrastructure Repairs (Rehabilitation) (FY2009) (2008128) in the
City of St. Louis and St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Insituform Technologies
USA, Inc. for the rehabilitation of the aforesaid sanitary sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the rehabilitation of said sanitary sewers
is Four Million Nineteen Thousand Six Hundred Three Dollars
($4,019,603.00), and the allowance for construction change orders and other
project costs is One Hundred Eighty Thousand Three Hundred Ninety-seven
Dollars ($180,397.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Million Two Hundred Thousand
Dollars ($4,200,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the following funds in
the amounts listed: Sanitary Replacement Fund – Four Million Twenty
Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-five Dollars ($4,020,755.00); and Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Missouri River Bonfils
– One Hundred Seventy-nine Thousand Two Hundred Forty-five Dollars
($179,245.00); to be used for project costs for the rehabilitation of sanitary
sewers in Infrastructure Repairs (Rehabilitation) (FY2009) (2008128) in the
City of St. Louis and St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
to enter into a contract with Insituform Technologies USA, Inc. as the lowest
responsible bidder for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Infrastructure
Repairs (Rehabilitation) (FY2009) (2008128) in the City of St. Louis and St.
Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 13th day
of November 2008.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 8, 2009.
