AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Sixty-six Thousand Dollars
($66,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement
Fund of Black Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm
sewers in Ames Pl. #10 Creek Bank Stabilization (2007078), in the City of
Ladue, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with Ideal Landscape Group for the construction of the aforesaid
storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is
Fifty-nine Thousand Nine Hundred Forty-seven Dollars ($59,947.00), and the
allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Six
Thousand Fifty-three Dollars ($6,053.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Sixty-six Thousand Dollars ($66,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Black Creek to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers in Ames Pl. #10 Creek Bank Stabilization
(2007078), in the City of Ladue, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into a contract with Ideal Landscape Group as the lowest responsible
bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Ames Pl. #10 Creek Bank
Stabilization (2007078), in the City of Ladue, Missouri, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 8th day of January 2009.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 12, 2009.
