AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eleven Million Two Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($11,200,000.00) from the General Fund for the
procurement and implementation of the hardware, software and
implementation services of the District’s Enterprise Systems Retooling
Phase III and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with Oracle USA, Inc. and Blue Heron Consulting for the
procurement and implementation of the aforementioned services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT
Section One. The sum of Eleven Million Two Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($11,200,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
General Fund for the procurement and implementation of the hardware,
software and implementation services of the District’s Enterprise
Retooling Phase III.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into a contract with Oracle USA Inc. and Blue
Heron Consulting for the procurement and implementation of the
hardware, software and implementation services of the District’s
Enterprise Retooling Phase III.
Section Three. The contract authorized in Section Two of
this ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as are
approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 12, 2009.
