Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for
additional engineering services for the final design of Coldwater Sanitary
Relief Section B, C & D Wet Weather Storage Facility Tank A (2003083); and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 9 of
Contract E-1055 with Crawford Murphy & Tilly, Inc., for the aforesaid
additional engineering services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11589, adopted September 11, 2003,
appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract E-1055, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-referenced fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for additional
engineering services for the final design of Coldwater Sanitary Relief Section,
B, C & D Wet Weather Storage Facility Tank A (2003083).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
to enter into Amendment No. 9 of Contract E-1055 with Crawford Murphy &
Tilly, Inc. for additional engineering services for the final design of Coldwater
Sanitary Relief Sections, B, C & D Wet Weather Storage Facility Tank A
(2003083); said contract amendment to be comprised of such terms and
conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the
District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 12, 2009.
