AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Thirty-Seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars
($37,500.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer
Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Somerset Downs #35
Bank Stabilization (2007123), in the City of Ladue, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Parisi Ecoworks, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Thirty-Four
Thousand Fifty Dollars ($34,050.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other
project costs is Three Thousand Four Hundred Fifty Dollars ($3,450.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized
herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT
Section One. The sum of Thirty-Seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars
($37,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm
sewers in Somerset Downs #35 Bank Stabilization (2007123), in the City of Ladue, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Parisi Ecoworks, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in
Somerset Downs #35 Bank Stabilization (2007123), in the City of Ladue, Missouri, pursuant to
bids received and opened on the 3rd day of March 2009.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 14, 2009.
