HomeMy Public PortalAbout12862ORD INANCE NO. 12862 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Nine Hundred Eighty-Six Thousand Dollars ($986,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to reimburse St. Louis County Department of Highways & Traffic, Missouri for the costs of construction of sanitary sewers as undertaken by St. Louis County Department of Highways & Traffic in Barrett Station Sanitary Relief (96026); and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an agreement with the St. Louis County Department of Highways & Traffic, Missouri whereby the District will reimburse St. Louis County Department of Highways & Traffic for the construction of said sanitary sewers. WHEREAS, St. Louis County Department of Highways & Traffic, Missouri has undertaken the construction of said sanitary sewers, and WHEREAS, the District is willing to reimburse St. Louis County Department of Highways & Traffic, Missouri for the costs of said sanitary sewers, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Nine Hundred Eighty-Six Thousand Dollars ($986,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to reimburse St. Louis County Department of Highways & Traffic, Missouri for the costs of construction of sanitary sewers as undertaken by St. Louis County Department of Highways & Traffic in Barrett Station Sanitary Relief (96026). Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with St. Louis County Department of Highways & Traffic, Missouri whereby the District will reimburse St. Louis County Department of Highways & Traffic for the cost of construction of sanitary sewers as undertaken St. Louis County Department of Highways & Traffic in Barrett Station Sanitary Relief (96026); said agreement to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 11, 2009.
