AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twenty-Seven Thousand Dollars
($27,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Creve Coeur Frontenac to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers
in Oakhaven Ln. #543 Storm Sewer (2007191), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with All Type Grading -
Excavating, Inc. for the aforesaid storm sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is Twenty-Four
Thousand Four Hundred Seventy-Two Dollars ($24,472.00) and the allowance for
construction change orders and other project expenses is Two Thousand Five Hundred
Twenty-Six Dollars ($2,526.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty-Seven Thousand Dollars ($27,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement
Fund of Creve Coeur Frontenac to be used for project costs for the construction of storm
sewers in Oakhaven Ln. #543 Storm Sewer (2007191), in the City of Creve Coeur,
Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract
with All Type Grading - Excavating, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the
construction of storm sewers in Oakhaven Ln. #543 Storm Sewer (2007191), in the City
of Creve Coeur, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 3rd day of April
2009.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 11, 2009.
