AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Chairman of the Board of Trustees on behalf
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Jefferson Wells,
whereby Jefferson Wells will serve as the District's Internal Auditor to perform General auditing
functions not including the Engineering/Construction and E. S. Retooling (ERP) audits.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees is hereby authorized on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Jefferson Wells,
whereby Jefferson Wells will serve as the District's Internal Auditor to perform General auditing
functions not including the Engineering/Construction and E. S. Retooling (ERP) audits.
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One of this ordinance shall be
for a term of two years, shall provide for a total fee not to exceed Seventy-Two Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($72,500.00) in one year, and shall be comprised of such other terms and
conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 11, 2009.
