HomeMy Public PortalAbout12897ORDINANCE NO. 12897 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Fifty-Two Thousand Dollars ($52,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Black Jack – Dellwood Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Tobaggon Trail #11383 Bank Stabilization (2007200), in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan Unincorporated St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc., for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for construction of said storm sewers is Forty-Seven Thousand Six Hundred Forty-Eight Dollars ($47,648.00) and the allowance for construction change orders is Four Thousand Three Hundred Fifty-Two Dollars ($4,352.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN UNINCORPORATED ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Fifty-Two Thousand Dollars ($52,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Black Jack – Dellwood Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Tobaggon Trail #11383 Bank Stabilization (2007200), in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan Unincorporated St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Tobaggon Trail #11383 Bank Stabilization (2007200), in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 20th day of April 2009. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 11, 2009.
