AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars
($2,500,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for the District’s share of the project costs
of the Old Mill Creek Sewer Rehabilitation Phase IA - Ranken to 21st Street SKME-422
(89185A) included as part of the St. Louis Combined Sewer Overflows Cooperative effort with
the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars
($2,500,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for the District’s
share of the project costs of the Old Mill Creek Sewer Rehabilitation Phase IA - Ranken to 21st
Street SKME-422 (89185A) included as part of the St. Louis Combined Sewer Overflows
cooperative effort with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 11, 2009.
