AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Three Million Five
Hundred Thousand Dollars ($3,500,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund and Four
Hundred Thousand Dollars ($400,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, and Construction
Improvement Fund of Missouri River Bonfils for additional engineering services for
inflow/infiltration investigations for Separate Sewer Area-Inflow/Infiltration Assessment
(2007140); and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 2 to Contract E-1214 with
Woolpert Consultants, Inc. for the aforesaid additional engineering services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 12487, adopted August 9, 2007, appropriated the
initial funding for and authorized Contract E-1214, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars
($3,500,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund and Four Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($400,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance, and Construction
Improvement Fund of Missouri River Bonfils for additional engineering services for
inflow/infiltration investigations for Separate Sewer Area-Inflow/Infiltration Assessment
(2007140).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment
No. 2 to Contract E-1214 with Woolpert Consultants, Inc. for additional engineering services for
inflow/infiltration investigations for Separate Sewer Area-Inflow/Infiltration Assessment
(2007140); said contract amendment to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are
approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
