HomeMy Public PortalAbout12945ORDINANCE NO. 12945 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Creve Coeur Frontenac to be used for project costs for channel stabilization in Clayton Terrace #3 Bank Stabilization (2006135), in the City of Frontenac, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Ideal Landscape Group for the aforesaid channel stabilization construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said channel stabilization construction is One Hundred Thirty-Seven Thousand Three Hundred Seventy-Seven Dollars ($137,377.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Twelve Thousand Six Hundred Twenty-Three Dollars ($12,623.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Creve Coeur Frontenac to be used for project costs for channel stabilization in Clayton Terrace #3 Bank Stabilization (2006135), in the City of Frontenac, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Ideal Landscape Group as the lowest responsible bidder for channel stabilization in Clayton Terrace #3 Bank Stabilization (2006135), in the City of Frontenac, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 16th day of July 2009. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 10, 2009.
